Dear Parents and Guardians,

At the end of the current 2020-2021 school year, all students will be expected to take their Chromebooks and chargers home for the summer months. There will not be a collection of student Chromebooks except for the grade levels that are receiving replacements (Kindergarten). As a result, if there is a current known issue with your child’s Chromebook, it is important that they bring the device to the Tech Center immediately.  If you do not plan on using your Chromebook during the summer months make sure it is put in a safe place with the charger so it is ready for September.  Subsequently, students are also expected to report on the first day of school in September in possession of their fully charged functioning Chromebook

If your child is not returning to the school district in September, please make arrangements to return the Chromebook to the PJ Tech Department.  Our support team can be reached at 631-791-4273.

Any Chromebooks that are in need of repair as school winds down should be brought to our tech center in either the HS/MS or in the ES so they can be repaired and working at 100% for the start of school.  

Lastly, Chromebooks that require tech support during July and August should be brought to the Technology Office at the Elementary School by appointment by calling 631-791-4273. If you have any questions, please contact the building principal of your child’s current school prior to June 25th.
